Dr. David Whitt, DO

Dr. David Whitt matriculated at The Ohio State University graduating with a degree in Chemistry. He then moved to South Florida where he attended and graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine. Dr. Whitt returned to Central Ohio and completed a three-year residency in the OhioHealth system.

Upon completion of his medical education and training, Dr. Whitt joined a primary care group in Lancaster, Ohio where he practiced for eight years. The group consisted of Internal Medicine physicians along with several physician assistants and nurse practitioners, who provided care in the local hospital, their office, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. During

this time, Dr. Whitt developed the concept of creating a physician led team of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and office support staff working closely with the health teams at facilities to obtain the best results for patients and their families. Working together, we can eliminate unnecessary medications and out-of-facility specialist visits while at the same time promptly identifying and treating medical issues in an effort to decrease ER visits and hospitalizations. Dr. Whitt and his team take pride in their work and are well known in the central Ohio community for their excellent care and their compassion for patients.

He believes that the right attitude goes a long way, and that success happens when the needs of everyone that walks through the door are met with kindness and hard work.
