Valarie resides in Pataskala, Ohio, and has built a distinguished career in nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and her Master’s in Nursing with a Family Practice specialization from Otterbein University in 2014. Valarie also holds certifications in wound care and dementia and authored a guidebook for caregivers of loved ones with dementia.

With over a decade of experience, she has provided primary care in various settings, including post-acute, long-term care, and senior living facilities, and has held Clinical Management roles in skilled nursing. Her diverse background includes work in urgent care and gastroenterology practices.

Outside of work, Valarie is a mother of two and the wife of Matt Langel, a local small business owner. She is committed to offering affordable, high-quality healthcare to her community.
